Interview with Professor David Galenson
Recently I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing David Galenson, professor of Economics at the University of Chicago. He has written an insightful book about the two life cycles of artists. You can listen to the podcast here. Enjoy, and please feel free to post your thoughts and comments below!

Nice Interview. I can see why people have difficulty applying economics to art history. Although, David's not only right, but also super bold when he says there's no intellectual curiosity when it comes to art history.
Come on art historians! Step up and debate. Don't just turn your back on David's theories.
Thanks for your comment, Aaron! Art historians DO need to embrace the economics of art. As the old saying goes: Bankers get together in the evening to talk about art, and artists get together in the evening to talk about money"
Thanks for visiting!
